vn projects

For users: the vn projects commands. Run team-owned projects and their rosters, and affiliate them with organizations. Every command accepts --json to print its result as JSON for scripts and agents. This page is generated from the CLI’s own oclif manifest on every build, so it matches the published @venturenetwork/cli. Install it from The CLI.

Accept a pending affiliation that the other side asked for. Accepting for the organization also invites the team members who are not yet in it, unless you pass –no-invite-team. Nobody joins the org until they accept their own invitation.

Ask an organization to affiliate with your project. The org’s owners or admins accept or decline. The org has to be public or one you belong to. Leads and network admins only.

List a project’s affiliations, newest first. The project’s leads and the org’s owners and admins see every status. Anyone else who can read the project sees active affiliations only.

Put someone on a project’s roster, or change their role or title if they are already on it. Any active member with a profile can be assigned. Leads and network admins only.

Create a project. Your team owns it and you are seated as its lead. A project is addressed by its id, which this command prints.

Invite a project’s team to your organization while the affiliation is active. Each roster member who is not in the org and has no pending invitation gets one, as a member. Nobody joins until they accept. Org owners and admins only.
